Meet Ann Marie DiStasi
Hi, I’m Ann Marie—founder of Divine Timing Creative, LLC. I launched the company in 2019 as a home base for my freelance work in video production, acting, comedy, and writing. The name "Divine Timing Creative" was inspired by life’s uncanny way of unfolding—not always when you expect it, but exactly when it’s meant to.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Tampa in 2017, with a concentration in Screenwriting and Production. Since then, I’ve built over eight years of experience working on live events and television sets in roles ranging from Production Manager and Coordinator to Stagehand and Assistant. My journey began in the hospitality industry, which taught me the value of clear communication, adaptability, and building meaningful relationships—skills that continue to shape my work across all creative platforms.
Comedy & Acting
My acting experience spans both screen and stage, from scripted performances to improv. In 2019, I stepped onto the stage for the first time as a stand-up comedian and have since won multiple roast battles, hosted shows including Don’t Tell Comedy, and played a key role in scouting talent and filling seats for local showcases. I’ve trained with The Second City in Chicago to sharpen my joke writing and storytelling, and I continue to take improv classes at The Commodore Comedy Theater in Tampa to keep my skills fresh and stay connected to the local comedy scene.
Most recently, I landed a spot in a Tampa Bay Rays commercial set to air in June 2025—an exciting new chapter in my on-screen journey.
Voice Over
My voice acting journey began in early 2024, driven by a passion for storytelling and vocal performance. I’ve trained with industry professionals through Such A Voice and built a fully equipped home studio featuring professional-grade recording gear, allowing me to deliver high-quality audio from anywhere.
I now offer voiceover services for a wide range of projects—from commercials and corporate content to animation and character work. My voice has been described as edgy, confident, strong, relatable, and witty, and I bring versatility to the mic with a variety of accents, character voices, and impersonations.
